About Us
Ada Interiors is a family-run business, set up by Deniz and Turgay Huysal in 2021. We make artisanal domestic furniture, a journey that began in our own home in London whilst seeking quality designs that would suit a modern home in a period property. Everything we found was either mass produced or inaccessibly priced. So we decided to make our own.

How do I order an item?
All our items are made by hand and produced to order. This allows us to deliver the highest quality and avoid unnecessary waste. We take a personal approach to our customers so you can contact us about an item via our website or visit us at one of our pop-up exhibitions.
Do you make bespoke designs?
The dimensions of our items can be adapted so if you have specific requirements, we are always happy to discuss. We are constantly working on new designs and so we might be able to find a solution for you.
What payment modes do you take?

Exhibitions
We launch our collections alongside physical exhibitions of contemporary artists in leading art galleries in London.

How much does it cost?
Delivering is charged in addition to the cost of the item. Charges are dependent on the item and the delivery destination and we will provide a quote for that cost in reply to all enquiries. If you are ordering multiple items, it may be cheaper to ship them together so please contact us to speak to one of our team who will provide a no obligation quote.
Do you charge import Taxes?
All taxes will be included in the price but shipping may incur additional charges, such as import duties that we will communicate to you in advance.

How long does it take?
We aim to get your items to you as quickly as possible. Orders usually take between 8 to 10 weeks from the date of your order to delivery. Once you have made your purchase we will provide a more accurately estimated delivery date. And as soon as your order is shipped we will provide a series of updates regarding the progress of the shipment.
Why does it take this long?
Items are made to order, by hand and then it takes another 3-4 weeks to travel
What is your returns policy?
on custom-made items shipped within the UK are eligible for a full refund if returned within 30 days of receipt, provided they remain in their original condition with no visible signs of wear. We do not cover the cost of returns.
Custom, bespoke designs are not eligible for returns although the custom-design process will include stages for approval.
We do not accept returns from overseas buyers. However, items damaged in transit may be eligible for a refund.
Product Care
How do I clean my product?
Care instructions to be found under the specific product details of every item on our website and will be included in the package with the product.
Do I have to assemble my item?
No. Except for the marble tops to our tables that need to be placed on top of the legs.
Materials
What is your approach to sustainable production?
We founded Ada Interiors because we saw so much mass-produced furniture and so we avoid unnecessary waste, shipping and storage by making items to order. All items are produced in Turkey by artisans running small workshops in Istanbul and we are committed to supporting these communities of makers. Our carpenters, upholsterers and varnishers operate in the same neighbourhood of Istanbul and their ateliers keep as close as possible to a carbon zero target. It is our aim to sustain these micro enterprises and allow them to continue thriving in the environment and neighbourhood that they love.
How far does your wood travel?
Our wood is shipped within Turkey, by train or car to Istanbul from forests in Ayancık in the Black Sea region of Turkey, famous for the best quality Beech wood.
Where are your fabrics sourced?
From local Turkish producers who mainly export to the UK and other destinations.
Where does your leather come from and how is it tanned?
Our raw leather comes from Italy and Spain to ensure the highest quality. Tanning takes place in Turkey
