About Ada Interiors

We founded Ada Interiors to pass on the kind of stories that inspired us to embrace creativity and appreciate the tactile intimacies that we experience day-by-day, in hand-made furniture and beautifully-designed interiors.

We make artisanal domestic furniture, a journey that began in our own home in London whilst seeking quality designs that would suit a modern home in a period property. Everything we found was either mass produced or inaccessibly priced. So we decided to make our own.

Our bespoke designs are inspired by shared history, the places we grew up visiting and the stories of the people we either knew, read about or dreamt of.

Our focus on interiors stems from an appreciation of place and the heritage of a family where lines are never drawn between art, literature, design and architecture.

We are empowered by generations of our antecedents who were artists, designers, artisan fabric-makers and often all three. But above all they were storytellers.

This is why Ada Interiors celebrates interaction and interpretation of materials in both art and design, whether by the artisanal makers in our home City of Istanbul or in our collaborations with contemporary artists in London. Our collections can be found online but we premiere them first exclusively as part of curated exhibitions of contemporary artists, held in collaboration with established galleries and expert curators.
